Lilianfels Resort & Spa

Country Australia
Region New South Wales
Location Blue Mountains

Set on the edge of the Jamison Valley near the iconic Three Sisters, Lilianfels Resort & Spa is one of the Blue Mountains’ most historic and recognisable luxury retreats. Housed in a stately heritage mansion and surrounded by manicured English‑style gardens, Lilianfels blends old‑world charm with resort‑style facilities, offering a gracious base for exploring this World Heritage‑listed region.

The atmosphere is classic and refined rather than contemporary, with generous public spaces, open fireplaces, traditional afternoon high tea, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts and award‑winning dining at Darley’s Restaurant. Its elevated position allows many rooms to capture valley or garden views, while forest trails and scenic lookouts are just steps from the grounds.

Dining

Dining at Lilianfels Blue Mountains is a refined yet immersive experience that celebrates the region’s landscape and produce. The signature Darley’s Restaurant offers award-winning modern Australian cuisine crafted from the freshest local ingredients, served in a romantic heritage setting complete with crystal chandeliers, open fireplaces, and sweeping views across formal gardens and the Jamison Valley.

For more relaxed dining, the resort offers a variety of venues including all-day dining options and a traditional High Tea, where guests can enjoy scones, pastries, and fine teas in an elegant lounge setting. Additional outlets, such as the vibrant Miss Lilian and lounge-style spaces, provide a mix of casual and contemporary flavours, ensuring a diverse culinary offering throughout the day.

Experiences

Lilianfels is designed as both a luxury retreat and a gateway to the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains. Guests can unwind with curated wellness experiences, including indulgent treatments at the on-site day spa, created to relax, rejuvenate, and restore balance. The resort also offers a range of leisure facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness centre, and tennis courts, allowing guests to balance relaxation with activity.

Beyond the property, experiences extend into the surrounding World Heritage-listed landscape, with direct access to bushwalking trails, scenic lookouts such as Echo Point and the Three Sisters, and opportunities to explore local villages, gardens, and boutique shopping.

Together, these experiences create a stay that is equal parts indulgent retreat and immersive Blue Mountains escape.

Our refreshed guest rooms, suites and dining spaces are now open and welcoming guests. Final touches are continuing across the property as we complete our enhancement. Our spa is currently undergoing a dedicated upgrade and will reopen later in the year (2026) with a renewed wellness experience, as we shape the next chapter of this historic hotel as Ardour Lilianfels Blue Mountains, launching mid 2026.
